Your personal guide to overcoming your dogs separation anxiety.
Are you tired of feeling guilty every time you have to leave the house without your beloved pooch?
Feeling overwhelmed by the internets endless ineffective solutions to your dogs inability to be left alone?
I am looking for dedicated dog owners who are looking to work with a trained professional with hands on experience to help them overcome their dogs fear of being alone.

You are certainly not alone when it comes to owning a dog that expresses a fear of being alone, with the RSPCA suggesting that as many as 80% of dogs struggle with separation anxiety.
You may be aware of the more extreme signs that a dog is fearful of being alone, such as:
Destructive behaviours
Excessive vocalisation including barking and howling
Escape attempts
Soiling when otherwise house trained
Becoming anxious before you leave
But there are also more subtle signs that your dog is struggling with being alone. Behaviours may include:
Lip licking
Panting
Pinned back ears
Freezing

A dog that is comfortable being alone opens up so many opportunities for you the owner.
Whether your goal is to be able to relax in the knowledge your dog is snoozing through your weekly trip to the supermarket, or you are tired of turning down invites from friends to your favourite restaurant, just know that teaching your dog to be comfortable alone is possible.
